Advertising Club of Edmonton (ACE)

Interact with advertising professionals at student-focused events to
learn more about the industry. Expand your resume by volunteering on a
subcommittee and plan events such as the charitable Ad Auction and the
legendary ACE Awards. Find out more about employment opportunities
for your industry specialization: graphic and interactive design, media,
photography, production or business.
Membership benefits include volunteer opportunities, mentorship pairing
with industry professionals, employment opportunities and internships,
member rates at all ACE events, and a discounted rate for a subscription

Registration fee is $15 and you must be currently enrolled or recently
graduated from a post secondary institution- memberships are valid for

Business Student Association (BSA)

The University of Alberta Business Students’ Association is a Faculty
Association, of which every undergraduate business student at the
University of Alberta is automatically a member. The BSA represents its
members to the Students’ Union, the University administration, and the
corporate community at large.
Canadian Institute of Retailing and
Services (CIRAS)/School of Retailing

The Canadian Institute of Retailing and Services (CIRAS) is an institute
that runs within the Alberta School of Business at the University of
Alberta. Since 1991, CIRAS has offered training and research for
those in the retail and services fields. CIRAS instructs advanced
management practices that enhances the professionalism of these
industries. We strive to deliver high-quality education and
training that through the dissemination of new knowledge will benefit
all those involved.
