Internal Team
meet UAMA’s wonderful internal duo!
VP Internal - Lishing Sharma
Lishing is in her fourth year with a major in Marketing and a minor in Accounting. This is her first year with UAMA
Her go-to study spot is Carruthers! A fun fact about her is that she has a pet rabbit named Pickle, and her current hobby is baking. Lishing’s advice for first years is to get involved around the school and meet as many people as you can!
Internal Director - Gabriela Barreiro
Gabriela is in her third year and she is majoring in Bilingual Marketing! This is her first year with UAMA
Her favourite place to study on campus is at the Law cafe! Currently, her hobby is dancing salsa and bachata! Gabriela has a pretty photographic memory when it comes to songs. Whether they’re in Spanish, English, or French, she can easily memorize lyrics after 2-3 listens.
Her advice to first year students is to join clubs and volunteer as much as you can! Not only will you meet new people and build meaningful connections, you’ll also have the opportunity to give back to your community. It may feel nerve-wracking at first, but once you step outside your comfort zone, you’ll be surprised by how much you can grow and how many amazing experiences can come from it!
